HOLLY + JAMES // ENGAGEMENT SESSION

I love it up in Macclesfield forest. It is definitely one of my happy places! I have done lots of shoots up there and I intend on doing lots more in this magical part of Cheshire. Something about it feels so tranquil and calm, maybe it’s the trees swaying in the breeze or the fresh air and sunshine or just the lovely feeling of being outdoors. Whatever it is, it is a pretty wonderful place and if you haven’t been before I strongly advise you make a visit.

Macclesfield forest never seems to have a bad day either. Don’t get me wrong, its not always sun and blue skies but what I mean is, it’s perfect, even on a gloomy day. Rain or shine, snow or mist, it is magical. I feel like it brings out the very best in people too. Yes it rained a bit on their shoot, but you know what, it did not matter one bit. They rocked it, Macclesfield Forest rocked it and I jumped about like a giddy kipper. Yes, I am a total nutcase and NO I am not ashamed.

So without further ado… This is Holly and James’ engagement shoot from last summer. Honesty I could have photographed them all day long. It is pretty lucky I was also booked to go to France for their (my) dream wedding! I know! This is my job! It is pretty bloody awesome! I get to meet the most wonderful people and visit seriously fabulous places.
