Holly & James // Château de Cazenac // A Destination Wedding in France

Château de Cazenac is known as “The Fairytale Château” I had seen photos of it but nothing really prepared me for for its stunningly romantic beauty and rustic charm. Trust me, it lives up to its name! When I drove up the little winding road towards it I could hardly contain my excitement. I was in a photographers paradise and I was like a giddy little school girl in a sweet shop! Don’t even get me started on the beautiful french evening light! Just take my word for it, it was heavenly.

Holly & James chose to have a destination wedding in France so they could spend as much time as possible with their loved ones. It was just like a mini holiday which started from the Thursday with their rehearsal dinner, Friday a football match and a fabulous Cheese & Wine Night, Saturday their incredible Wedding Day and Sunday, a pool party and BBQ of course! I didn’t get to cover the pool party and BBQ unfortunately because of the way the flights turned out.

On their wedding day Holly wore a simple yet exquisitely elegant Caroline Castigliano gown. For the evening she added a stunning floral overlay skirt by Savin London. It was perfect for the evening party as she wanted to be able to twirl on the dance floor! Their band The Four Kicks belted out some seriously awesome tunes and WOW can that girl move! The Château was dressed to perfection by Jenny Fairbanks who had continued the rustic charm throughout. From the bridal bouquets and buttonholes to the ceremony room and alfresco reception under the pagoda which dripped with eucalyptus. The Château was a sight to behold. Holly & James had dreamed of their perfect day in the French sunshine and that is truly what they got.
